It is no secret that Turkey was the main driver behind the fall of the Assad regime in Syria. Former Blackwater CEO Erik Prince said as much during an interview with CDM in recent months -- "It was Turkish special forces." Of course, the CIA was likely involved as well.

Turkey has also facilitated the clean up of 'the Kurd' problem on its southern border, with the majority of PKK militants laying down their arms.

Turkey's man, Sunni Muslim Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa just dined with President Trump in The White House, an undreamed of development only months prior. The ethnic cleansing and murder of Syrian Christians and other minorities in southern Syria after al-Sharaa took power was not mentioned in the public press.

The Trump administration is making noise that it would prefer a Sunni solution to the 'Lebanon problem'. Trump envoy Tom Barrack said as much in recent public comment.

Of course, the Gulf Sunni Arab 'big league money' is also behind much of these developments. President Trump seems to be enamored with these leaders, seeing them as essential to American security and prosperity. He wants trillions injected into the U.S. economy, and he wants continued basing rights for the American empire in the region.

The Turkish leadership is routinely, almost daily, making noise about the threat Israel poses to the area. President Erdogan has been vocal about this view recently in public speeches. Turkey has made noise about basing its forces in Western Syria. Israel bombed airbases in that geographic area recently to prevent that development from happening.

Today, al-Sharaa said, "Israel has always claimed that it has concerns about Syria because it is afraid of the threats that the Iranian militias and Hezbollah represent.  We are the ones who expelled those forces out of Syria. Israel occupied the Golan Heights in order to protect Israel, and now they are imposing conditions in the south of Syria in order to protect the Golan Heights.  So after a few years, maybe they will occupy the center of Syria in order to protect the south of Syria. They will reach Munich on that pathway."

For its part, Israel is pushing a 'humanitarian corridor into southern Syria to protect minorities, the Druze and others. Is the concern real? Or, is it a way to maintain a military presence in southern Syria? Israel already controls the Golan Heights and Mount Hermon, and areas close to the capital Damascus.

A battle to carve up the rest of Syria is coming. Lebanon will likely also be carved up.

And now, the Trump administration wants to permanently base thousands of American men and women directly in the crosshairs of any future conflict on the Gaza border to 'help implement any future Gaza peace plan.'

A emerging conflict between Ankara and Jerusalem is brewing.

Will America be on the Sunni Muslim side or the Israeli side?

At the moment, Trump seems to be on both.

The question is -- who's worried about the Christians in the Middle East? Who's worried about America First?
