CDMEDIA / CDMEDIA SUPPORT — Credit Card Refund Policy

Who this covers
This policy applies to credit and debit card payments processed by CDMEDIA and CDMEDIA SUPPORT. Charges appear as CDMEDIA or CDMEDIA SUPPORT on your statement.

1) Where refunds go
Refunds go back to the same card account used for the original purchase whenever possible. If the original account can’t be credited or an authorization is declined, we may credit a different card for the same cardholder or use another method, per network rules. We do not provide cash refunds for card payments except where the networks allow because the card cannot be credited.  

2) Timing and visibility
We submit refunds promptly. Your bank controls posting. For Mastercard, issuers must post funds or adjust available credit after they receive the clearing record and should show a pending credit to the cardholder.  

3) Amount of refunds
Refunds will not exceed the original charge amount except for permitted items like return shipping or minor currency differences.  

4) Clear disclosure
We disclose our return, refund, and cancellation terms at checkout and on the receipt or confirmation. Limited or no-refund terms are presented for review and acceptance before you pay. Failure to disclose can lead to disputes, so we make these terms conspicuous.  

Product-specific terms

A) CDMEDIA subscriptions and digital access
    •    You can cancel future renewals anytime from your account or by contacting us.
    •    We refund duplicate charges, accidental double billing, unauthorized use, or processing errors.
    •    Once digital content or access has been used, charges are generally non-refundable. If there’s a service issue, we’ll provide a fix, a pro-rated credit, or a refund at our discretion.
These terms are shown at checkout and on your receipt.  

B) CDMEDIA SUPPORT voluntary payments
    •    Supporter payments are voluntary and non-refundable. No goods or services are provided in return.
    •    We will reverse duplicate payments, processing errors, or confirmed unauthorized use.
The non-refund condition is clearly shown at checkout and requires your acknowledgment.  

C) Advertising purchases (if paid by card)
    •    Campaigns run under a signed insertion order.
    •    Cancellations before the start date receive a full reversal.
    •    After launch, delivery issues are handled with make-goods or pro-rated credits, not refunds, unless required by law.
    •    Invoices and receipts reference the insertion order for recognition and dispute avoidance.  

How to request a refund or credit

Email [support email] with: name, date, amount, order or invoice number, and the last 4 digits of the card only. Do not send full card numbers. We’ll confirm receipt and outcome by email. If a refund is approved, we issue it to the original card where possible, consistent with card-network rules.
