CDM reported on the initial Iranian reaction to the 'Trump Route for Peace and Prosperity' in Armenia being finalized at The White House last week.

The issue of territorial integrity and the questions about our route to Europe or north not being closed have been taken into account, said Iranian President Masud Pezeshkian.

The Prime Minister of Armenia and the Minister of Foreign Affairs will have phone conversations with the Iranian side in Washington following the signing of the document regarding the so-called "Trump Route"
Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi informed journalists about the upcoming calls, adding that a visit by the Deputy Foreign Minister to Tehran is also planned for the coming Tuesday, reported @ArmeniaSputnik.

▫️The corridor issue has been completely removed from the agenda; now the discussion is about a transit route that will be constructed under the sovereignty and jurisdiction of Armenia within its territory.
▫️Iran's position on the raised issues is completely clear. The Islamic Republic of Iran welcomes any peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan and has previously declared its readiness to cooperate and support the peace process between the two countries.
▫️All countries in the region must fully respect the sovereignty over their territories. Iran defends international borders and does not accept any changes to them.
▫️The joint statement of Armenia and Azerbaijan includes three principles: respecting the sovereignty of the countries in the region, respecting territorial integrity, and opposing any changes to borders. These principles fully correspond to the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
▫️The possible presence of an American company is concerning, and Iran will continue consultations on this matter.
