Late last month, Sky News Australia reported that residents in a remote area in the Northern Territories were being held hostage in their homes by thousands of feral camels.
According to the news presenter, the camels stormed the town!
Eleven homes were left without water as the camels smashed through fences and ripped air conditioners and taps off walls.
The incident happened in the desert west of Alice Springs in the middle of the country.
The camels were desperately searching for water.
The residents were too scared to leave their homes.
Camels were brought to Australia in the 1840s. It is estimated there are now a million camels roaming the desert.
