Tammy Bruce, the spokesman for the US State Department confirms the US will no longer be a mediator in negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.

"We will continue to help, but we will no longer fly around the world as mediators in meetings. Now it is up to the two sides, the time has come when they must present and develop concrete ideas on how to end this conflict. It will be up to them.

"He (U.S. President Donald Trump) knows also that there is another part of the world, a whole globe that needs some attention," Bruce told reporters.

"We are not going to fly around the world at the drop of a hat to mediate meetings; that is now between the two parties, and now is the time that they need to present and develop concrete ideas about how this conflict is going to end."

"The Secretary has also made it very clear that while our style will change, the methodology of how we contribute to this will change in that we will not be the mediators," Bruce added.

This development likely impacts Ukraine more than the Russian Federation. Now, the question is -- how much military support will Ukraine be provided by The White House?

It is telling that this announcement came right after the 'mineral deal' was signed with the Ukrainian government. With this deal in place, the U.S. will be more incentivized to keep Ukraine out from further Russian control so as to maintain access to funding and resources.

Russia maintains military superiority on the battlefield, but now may be less incentivized to continue the fighting.

The Kremlin recently said the end of the war must be directly negotiated between Russian and Ukraine, not the United States.

This development has been foreshadowed in Washington, and Moscow.

Vice President JD Vance remarked last evening, "It's not going to end any time soon. And I think the Ukrainians, yeah they're angry they were invaded, but are we going to continue to lose thousands and thousands of soldiers over a few miles of territory?"
