REPORT: Trump Pushes Ukraine To Hold Elections, Referendum On Peace Deal May 15th

As of now, President Volodymyr Zelensky does not plan to announce presidential elections or a referendum on a possible peace deal with Russia on Feb. 24, a source in the President's Office familiar with the matter told the Kyiv Independent on Feb. 11, writes Zero Hedge.
The comment came after the Financial Times reported that Kyiv was preparing to hold both votes this spring and that Zelensky could unveil the plan on the fourth anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion.
So Zelensky's office itself is rejecting the claims of Western media. Again, this is consistent with Zelensky's stance on this issue throughout escalating pressure from Washington, and clearly nothing fundamentally has changed.
The Trump administration has long attempted to end the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, which The White House inherited from the Biden administration's corrupt actions on The Continent to foster and grow the conflict for the globalist agenda.
Trump has tried multiple avenues to achieve peace, to no avail. Every time an agreement looks to be within sight, EU leaders, and their intelligence services find a way to torpedo a deal.
Now it seems the Trump administration has decided Zelenskiy has to go, and the best way to achieve that in the eyes of the world is to hold elections.
Ukraine plans presidential elections and a referendum on a Russia peace deal by May 15, under pressure from the Trump administration, which has tied US security guarantees to the vote and a deal, reports RT.
Zelensky is expected to announce the plan on February 24.
It remains to be seen if Ukraine can hold a free and fair election. With the United States working to clean up the elections under this administration, perhaps those techniques could be used in Ukraine. Zelenskiy is not popular with his own people, as they see him for working for other agendas instead of the people of Ukraine.
