Recently, KETV and WOWT TV news in Omaha, Nebraska reported on the attempted abduction of a 3-year-old boy in an area Walmart parking lot.
A woman violently attempted to abduct the child and cut his arm and face with a stolen butcher knife, resulting in several stitches. Police shot and killed the 31-year-old woman.
The boy was released from hospital and has been recovering.
According to a KETV news presenter, court documents show that the woman, a year ago, was ruled as a danger to herself and others.
She was involved in a stabbing of her father and a break-in in 2024, but found not responsible by reason of insanity. The judge ordered her to undergo evaluation in an "outpatient capacity" in February 2025.
The KETV reporter said that a grand jury will investigate this matter.

The judge who released her after she stabbed her father should be charged. The judge essentially declared her criminally insane and she needed to be committed to a residential facility, not set free.
I fear nothing will change until the violence they subject us to visits they and theirs... Problem is, I fear that less than I fear their weaponized against us judicial system.
