Markets are selling off big this morning because of coordinated action across all Leftist media pushing the 'second wave' outbreak narrative, to further damage the American economy right prior to the November presidential election. Orange man bad!
China even managed to throw in a scare for the food supply, saying the new outbreak announced at the Xinfadi food market was sparked by transmission from 'imported salmon.' That will get the Karens on the Upper East Side worried to a frenzy.
"The containment efforts have rapidly entered into a war-time mode," senior city government official Xu Ying told a news conference over the weekend. He added that nearly 100,000 epidemic-control workers had entered the "battlefield". We suggest that markets simply got ahead of themselves and were looking for an excuse to fade . The 'second wave' fits perfectly.
The simple fact is, no matter how deadly COVID-19 is, and it's not very deadly, we have to live with it going forward and manage the risk.
The American economy is deep, resilient and wide. The Left knows this and this is what they are targeting with all the violence, pandemics, and looting.
