Speculation has been rampant about which country newly-inaugurated President Trump will travel to as his first foreign destination. The UK has historically held that position due to the 'special relationship'.

However, the UK has been the main engine of subversion of the American electoral process, which saw PM Keir Starmer actually sending operatives to help campaign for Kamala Harris during the 2024 election.

The relationship is special no more.

Now President Trump announces Saudi Arabia will enjoy the privilege of his first travel and the Kingdom has announced a $600B in the United States over 4 years.
