Since the summer, CDM has meticulously detailed the decades-long attacks on the Christian community in Lebanon. One of these attack vectors has been the movement of approximately 2 million Sunni 'refugees' from Syria onto Lebanese territory during the Assad regime.
The Assad regime fell over a year ago and now a Sunni government governs Syria.
However, the refugees remain in Lebanon, enabled by payments from the UN and European NGOs.
Turkish President Erdogan today declared, "In the past year, 600,000 of our Syrian guests have returned to their homeland." Turkey seems to value its culture and tradition, which can be destroyed by mass immigration.
The Christian community in Lebanon also values its culture, society and tradition.
It's time for the Sunni refugees in Lebanon to return to Syria.
