The latest round of indirect U.S.-Iran nuclear talks concluded Thursday in Geneva without a formal agreement, but Omani mediator Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi reported "significant progress" following intensive sessions.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, who led his delegation, described the discussions—mediated through Oman and involving U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner—as among the "most intense" to date, with agreement on some issues but persistent differences on others, including sanctions relief and nuclear constraints.

Albusaidi posted on X that the day ended after "significant progress in the negotiation between the United States and Iran," noting both sides showed openness to new ideas. No joint statement was issued, and the U.S. side offered limited immediate public comment, though sources described the atmosphere as positive.
