Canada is ready to replace the U.S. as the world leader, stated the country’s Prime Minister Carney, according to The New York Times.
The Canadian Prime Minister said he would try to assemble a "coalition of like-minded nations" seeking an alternative to the U.S.
"If the United States no longer wants to lead, then Canada will. The 80-year period when the U.S. carried the banner of global economic leadership, built alliances based on trust and mutual respect, and championed the free and open exchange of goods and services has come to an end. While this is a tragedy, it is also a new reality," Carney said.
He added that Canada would respond to Trump’s tariffs in a way that minimizes damage to itself while maximizing harm to the U.S.
Carney has also been accused of avoiding Canadian taxes by hiding money offshore in Canadian tax havens like the Bahamas, Cayman Island, and Barbados.
Carney is also pushing to provide another $150M to Canadian state broadcast media, in a bid to further propagandize the Canadian population.
Looks like war or at least he just declared war.
