The Chinese Salt Typhoon Cyber attack is still raging. Who was the Lead Federal Official (LFO) for the cyber defense of America? It is the NSA / Cyber Command Director, and General Haugh encumbered this position until Trump fired him.
The gravity of what happened and why is still not getting enough attention and simple explanation.
The cybersecurity mantra had previously been to use “2FA” or Two Factor Authentication - that’s when you receive a text with a code so you can access your bank account or other sensitive information.
Well there’s a problem with that - the Chinese seem to own the SMS 2FA system - that’s why DHS CISA is putting out alerts to use higher levels of 2FA such as Microsoft Authenticator.
The real meaning of these alerts is that the three letter agencies are getting their butts kicked.
Well maybe if they spent more time focusing on China and less time on J6, Woke-ism, DEI, and CRT maybe we wouldn’t be in this situation.
The tariffs are hammering the Chinese - we need to keep hammering the Chinese through trade measures until they stop the cyber blitz on the American Citizen (and other places like South Korea).
There’s a power struggle going on in China - hopefully the tariffs will incentivize the Chinese to change out their leadership.
We need to totally purge our leadership until people are found that will focus on their constitutional duty.
