The Democratic Party does not have a fringe problem. It has a leadership problem. Hasan Piker — Twitch streamer, DSA campaign trail fixture, and unofficial face of the socialist wing now reshaping American politics — has been actively stumping for Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan and Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate Francesca Hong. He counts NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani as a close ally. And his quote file reads like a foreign intelligence operation's wish list.

"We want more immigrants to come into your countries and then they're gonna f**k your sisters and then your daughters. We're here to destroy the White Race, bitch," Piker said in a widely circulated clip. In another clip: "Yeah kill them! Kill those motherf**kers and murder those motherf**kers in the streets. Let the streets soak in their f**king red capitalist blood." And on September 11: "America deserved 9/11. I do not support the United States of America." These are not out-of-context soundbites — they represent a pattern of openly anti-American, revolutionary Marxist rhetoric from a man whom Democratic candidates have chosen, repeatedly, to campaign alongside.

The establishment is starting to notice how toxic this is. Hillary Clinton herself warned Friday that the GOP's "anti-communist messaging is very effective." The University of Washington — one of the most progressive campuses in the country — just cancelled a scheduled Piker speaking event. Republican state rep Travis Couture put it plainly: "Someone who said that America deserves 9/11 and that capitalist blood should spill in the street should not be someone we are promoting with our tax dollars." Federal investigators are also reported to be examining whether Piker's network has links to foreign-backed Marxist financing operations tied to China and Cuba.

None of this is an accident. The Democratic Socialists of America are not a protest movement — they are a calculated, well-funded political operation embedding itself inside the Democratic Party. The fact that El-Sayed, AOC, and other party figures have refused to issue clear denunciations tells you everything about where the party's center of gravity now sits. Americans watching their country get called a deserving 9/11 target by someone stumping for Senate candidates should ask: if the party won't distance itself from this, what exactly does it stand for?
