Chinese state run media is declaring China will close one American consulate in China in retaliation for the U.S. closing the Chinese consulate in Houston, TX, with Pompeo calling it a 'nest of spies'.

In his speech, Pompeo called for a 'new alliance of democracies' to confront the Chinese Communist Party, and to free the Chinese people from their totalitarian masters.
