President Trump has in one fell swoop forced the peace process forward in the Middle East, and in Ukraine.
As the Left likes to say -- it's all intersectional.
Trump's brilliant recognition and meeting with the new 'leader' of Syria, was not to support Golani's past terror ties, but a gift to the rising Turkish government, which now is facilitating peace in Ukraine for POTUS.
You have to see the big picture and the image is beautiful...one of a new golden age of peace and prosperity.
Today, delegations from Ukraine and Russia met in Istanbul, with Turkey mediating the discussions.
This is not the end of these negotiations, but it is likely the beginning of the end of the Ukraine conflict, which as Trump said, never should have happened.
Not all analysts are hopeful however, and some remain worried about the prospects for an end to the killing.
According to our sources in Kyiv, the "Russian Federation sent very experienced men to negotiate. Leader is a Professor Medinsky, who is also an adviser to Putin on security and cultural matters. He led the negotiations in Istanbul in 2022. He is accompanied by Admiral Kostyukov, head of GRU, + 10 more high-level experts on various matters. Ukraine side is full of corrupted men like Sibiga (contrabandist family of corrupted judges), Malyuk (bulldog head of SBU), Zhovkva (adviser to Yermak, a liar and a collaborator) and, of course, Yermak, a triple agent. RF sent professors and experienced intelligence admiral, a trained serial killer and an analyst to look at the Ukrainian side and then come back to Kremlin and make professional reports and witness accounts for further war-gaming scenarios.
Russia said its delegation will not stay in Turkey after the meeting but will immediately return to Moscow. Zelenskiy's taunts of Putin, likely a tactic advised by Biden operatives, did not work. Zelenskiy is reduced to LARPing as a leader across Europe and elsewhere.
The bottom line is the two sides are talking directly, in the same room, albeit with a 'mediator', like the nasty divorce that it is.
This is progress for humanity. We hope it continues. Kudos to President Trump.
