Yesterday, President Trump issued a statement on his Truth Social account where he directly went after the Chinese Communist Party and Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
The statement was forceful and threatening after China reportedly implemented export controls on almost all of their products, and attempted to influence other nations exporting strategic goods to the United States as well.
China, with this action, is attempting to wield the 'assassin's mace', a reference to Chinese history where an adversary would quietly surround a victim with deadly force capability, and when the victim finally realizes what is going on, it is too late and he is killed.
Trump seems to have foreseen this development.
"This affects ALL Countries, without exception, and was obviously a plan devised by them years ago...Also on November 1st, we will impose Export Controls on any and all critical software," declared POTUS.
In the video below, China Uncensored reports that Chinese hi-tech exports to Russia are also being restricted, and they mention the historical tension between Moscow and Beijing.
Trump seems to be exploiting this long-term reality.
Some have characterized the Chinese move as a 'negotiating tactic.'

"I would say that the Chinese have drawn a line in the dirt. They’re taking a maximalist stance because they believe they deserve to be treated as a world leader. Trump has foolishly been in a deal maker's mindset with the CCP and now is smelling the roses. They are stepping into their self-perceived role as a world power and leader, the same world and regional power they represented at times former dynasties. Today, counties must pledge fealty to Beijing, or kowtow to the emperor, which is the CCP. They are no longer trying to hide their intentions and trying to market themselves as a benevolent trading partner. This event represents that we are officially in a Cold War between the free world and totalitarianism."
"The United States and the West need to stop treating the People's Republic of China as another good faith rules based country. They see the world differently, through a Darwinian lens. It is time for the U.S. to get serious about the threat of the CCP to our nation and the free-world at large."
Global companies that sell goods with certain rare-earth materials sourced from China accounting for 0.1% or more of the product’s value would need permission from Beijing, under the new rule. Tech companies will probably find it extremely difficult to show that their chips, the equipment needed to make them and other components fall below the 0.1% threshold, industry experts said, reported WSJ.
“These rare-earth minerals and the ability to refine them are just the basis of modern civilization,” said Dean Ball, who recently left his White House role as an AI policy adviser to become a senior fellow at the Foundation for American Innovation, a think tank. He added that the rules could cause a U.S. recession if implemented aggressively because of how important AI capital spending is to the economy.
