There has been a long standing grudge between Pakistan and India over several matters, one of them being the disputed Kashmir Border region. Not well understood is that the Kashmir dispute is really a three party issue, Pakistan, India, and China.
If Pakistan had full control of the entire Kashmir region, they’d have a broad border with China. There is also a pipeline being built from Iran through Afghanistan, into Pakistan, and then into China. With Pakistan and China having control of the Kashmir region, the pipeline could be finished securely on its final leg into China.
There is likely more to the murderous terrorist attack in Kashmir that killed 26, mostly Indian tourists.
China is under crushing pressure at home with the Tariff war. Legacy media cheerleads for China and acts as if its only America that is hurting.
Not true at all. It appears China is buckling. China is dependent upon exports of inexpensive product to America for likely 50-70% of its economy. No exports to America, no jobs, no food, and the people start rising up.
At a major university in China, this manifesto was posted by two Professors. It called for the removal of President Xi and an end to the Chinese Communist Party.
This is unheard of and speaks volumes as to the level of instability in China.
These two Professors have likely already been arrested along with their families and even executed.

What does this have to do with Pakistan, India, and the U.S.?
Almost all major conflicts in the world today trace in one way or another to China.
China is in trouble at home because of tariffs, China prods Pakistan into a nuclear exchange with India, India retaliates, and the whole world lights off.
Xi can galvanize his population and no longer has to worry about lack of access to the American market. Xi is not concerned with other countries losing millions of people as long as he can stay in power along with the CCP.
Is there an American strategic interest if India and Pakistan fight conventionally? Not really.
Is there and American strategic interest in preventing a nuclear exchange that will likely trigger a worldwide conflict? Of course.
