Azerbaijan seeking life sentence for Nagorno-Karabakh Christian leader in prison from recent war, Trump silent

Today, security forces of the globalist Pashinyan government attacked the Holy Sea of the Armenian Apostolic Church at Etchmiazdin, attempting to occupy the facility. The location is the site of the first Christian Cathedral ever built. The action attacking the church by the Pashinyan government has been expected, but the reality of today's development devastated Armenian Christians worldwide.
CDM visited the site earlier this summer. On display at the museum of the church exists the spear that struck Christ in the side while being crucified on the cross, as well as pieces of the cross itself. Christ's Apostle Bartholomew was involved in this early Christian community.
The government is attempting to use the same playbook that is being implemented in Ukraine, forcing conversion of the population from a 1,700 year-old independent apostolic church, to a state-run church, which will destroy real Christianity in the country.
The excuse, as in Ukraine with the destruction of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, is the accusation of Russian influence. Therefore, in the government's mind, the state must take over the church and expel priests.
The tactic of creating a state church was perfected by the Chinese Communist Party.
Pashinyan was at The White House recently to sign a peace deal with Muslim Azerbaijan.
Sources inside the administration of Pashinyan tell CDM that the Trump administration has greenlit the destruction of the existing Christian Apostolic Church in Armenia, and Pashinyan is not worried about blowback from the U.S. over his actions targeting Christians.
American evangelicals have also inexplicably supported what is happening in Armenia.
Armenia was the site of one of the largest genocides against the original Christian church in the early 20th century. Approximately two million Armenian Christians were slaughtered by the Turkish government.
It is our understanding that Bishop Hovnan Terteryan, the head of a large Armenian community in the United States, is also supporting Pashinyan, along with ten other bishops in-country.
Although a large parishioner crowd prevented the takeover by the state of Etchmiazdin today, sources tell CDM the government will try again until it succeeds.
In addition, neighboring Azerbaijan announced it is seeking a life sentence for former Karabakh official Ruben Vardanyan, accusing him of war crimes, terrorism, and crimes against humanity. Vardanyan, along with other Christian leaders from the ancient Christian region of Artsakh are in prison in Baku.
Sources tell CDM Vardanyan is a political threat to the Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan.
Trump mentioned the imprisoned Christian leaders in Baku during the peace deal event at The White House with the Armenian and Azeri leaders. He has not mentioned the political prisoners publicly since.
