UPDATE: Dmitriev later clarified the signing is with a private engineering company, not US officials.

During the St Petersburg International Economic Forum underway this week in the Russian Federation, an announcement was made that economic cooperation is ongoing between the U.S. and Russia culminating tomorrow with the signing of an agreement to continue the Bering Strait tunnel project.

CDM has a source at the conference.

The announcement was made by Kirill Dmitriev, the Russian president’s envoy to the U.S. for economic matters. Dmitriev has made multiple trips to The White House in recent years.

Former U.S. President John F. Kennedy was actively pursuing this reality before he was assassinated.
