Trump administration envoy Steve Witkoff said today that the U.S. and Russia have “reached an understanding,” on the war in Ukraine.
“This peace agreement involves five territories—but it’s about much more than that.
"It’s about security protocols, NATO, Article 5—there are many details.”
“This is the third meeting I've had with him. This last meeting lasted close to five hours. Towards the end, we actually came up with.. I’m going to say finally...what Putin’s request is to have a permanent peace here.”
So another treaty for Putin to tear up and toss on the ash heap of history....but by all means appease the totalitarian.
