An explosive device was used to target two bridges in the Bryansk and Kursk regions of Russia, killing and injuring civilians.

A credible source has confirmed to CDM that the devices contained Western C-4 plastic explosive.

Although this does not prove Western or Ukrainian involvement, it is a possible clue as to those behind the attacks.

Our source has been very reliable in the past.

Eyewitnesses report chilling screams of children in Bryansk as trucks fell from the bridge directly onto the moving train, crushing one of the carriages with passengers still inside.

At least 4 civilians confirmed dead — 7 injured so far — as emergency teams pull survivors through shattered windows amid twisted metal and rising smoke.

Russian media (Izvestia) now confirms the collapse was caused by an explosion.

"The 'Freight Train' was moving towards temporarily occupied Crimea," said a statement put out by Ukrainian authorities reported The Sun.

"As a result of an explosion on the railway track, the train with fuel tanks and freight cars derailed.

"The key logistical artery of Muscovites in the occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia region and Crimea was disrupted."
