The Anglican Church will have its first female leader for the first time in 1,400 years.

Sarah Mullally will become Archbishop of Canterbury, according to British authorities. She will replace Justin Welby, who resigned after covering up allegations of child sexual abuse in the church.

Mulally's inauguration will take place in March 2026 at Canterbury Cathedral. Although the decision is being hailed as historic, it could spark conflict with conservative parishes in Africa, where female priesthood is not recognized.

Sarah Mullally is a former Chief Nurse for England and has led the London Diocese since 2018, as well as a member of the House of Lords. She is known as an advocate for expanding the role of women in the church and allowing same-sex couples to receive blessings, while also advocating for the preservation of traditional marriage.

In our view, the church will continue to lose membership as Christians move to organizations actually teaching Christianity, versus the globalist ideology.
