Washington, DC - The pressure campaign against the Venezuelan Maduro regime by the Trump administration has been public and deliberate.
Late last evening President Trump posted a video where Maduro seems to offer information on the Biden administration working with criminal gangs coming into the United States.
The video Trump posted says Maduro has now turned state's evidence against the former Biden regime in a very public way.
CDM has reported extensively that the current 'drug operation' in the Caribbean is not mainly about drugs, but about the unrestricted warfare Venezuela, and others, have been waging against the United States for years.
Reuters reports, Maduro asked for full legal amnesty for himself and his family, the lifting of U.S. sanctions on over 100 officials, and the closure of an International Criminal Court case against him.
He also proposed that Vice President Delcy Rodríguez lead an interim government before new elections.
Trump rejected most demands but gave Maduro one week to leave Venezuela with safe passage.
That deadline expired Friday, prompting Trump to announce the closure of Venezuelan airspace.

The biggest problem for Maduro now is that if he tries to surrender, then his Cuban guards, who put him in power, will kill him.
I understand Spanish, and what I hear Maduro saying in this video is that documents of the FBI and DEA will prove that the US was working with the (prior?)government of Colombia to get Tren de Aragua narcos into Venezuela
to destabilize that country. Which he blocked. Who knows, but our efforts to overthrow the Venezuelan regime are bedrock public policy since Chavez.
The voting machine story does indicate a counter-effort by Venezuelan against us, but a high-risk one for them.
