There was a hearing at the Arizona Senate several years ago, when one of my colleagues alongside me, gave statements about the untrustworthy nature of Arizona elections.
He was pilloried when he also insinuated that there was significant Cartel activity inside of Arizona, some of it associated with the current Governor.
Now a very interesting story has surfaced that an official with the Arizona Department of Corrections has been arrested inside of Mexico working for the Sinaloa Cartel.
“The suspect, who was identified as Yanet ‘N’, was stopped by security forces who were conducting surveillance in the municipality of San Luis Rio Colorado near a bridge that connects the state of Sonora with Arizona.
The Mexican government said that Yanet ‘N’ served as the logistics operator for the cartel faction and the ammunition cartridges were found under the seat of her Jeep Wrangler.
“These actions impair the operational capacity of criminal groups and prevent weapons and ammunition from being used to incite violence,” Mexico’s Security Cabinet said in a statement.
(The) Mexican newspaper Excelsior reported that the woman was carrying an identification card from the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry identifying her as Yanet Dowden and as a “Level II correctional officer.” “
Well well well, where there is smoke, there is fire.
The likelihood that Yanet was doing this all on her own while moonlighting from the Arizona Department of Corrections is very low in my assessment.
I think that colleague of mine who spoke at the Arizona Senate alongside me is owed an apology.
