An 11-year-old boy has been charged with criminal homicide as an adult for allegedly killing his adopted father over Nintendo Switch, reported WHP-TV news (CBS 21) based in Harrisburg, PA. The murder took place in Duncannon, PA, north of Harrisburg.
Clayton Dietz, 11, is accused of shooting and killing his father while he was sleeping in their home on January 13 on Dietz's birthday.
Apparently the boy was upset that he was told to go to bed without his Nintendo Switch.
Dietz's lawyer said on camera, "My goal is going to be to try to get him into juvenile court."
The news presenter said that in Pennsylvania, if one is over 10 years and is charged with killing someone, one is charged as an adult.
CBS 21's new reporter Lily Sexton was at the courthouse. She overheard Dietz telling his mother that the handcuffs were hurting him.

How on earth can an 11 yr old be tried as an adult. He has just turned 11.
The parents shoudl NOT have had a gun avaiable to him, I am certain this youth had an unhealthy obsession with gaming, So many youth have becomd mind numbed by gaming.
Gaming today a far FAR cry from Donkey Kong and Mario Brothers..... yes a lot of youths are not so badly affected ,,,,,,, but some for sure are. This is kinda like "Hey don't worry if a shark has been seen only 1 or 2 out of 100 people are attacked.
