U.S. new home sales increased 3.7% for the month of December as skewed data from the government shutdown continues to be released. Expectations were for an 8.7% decline month over month.

The ISM Non-Manufacturing Index (PMI) came in at 59.7% where consensus estimate was for 57.3% in February.
