"The next round of talks will be held in Oman on Saturday and will be the first meeting between the two technical teams," State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce told reporters.
The technical part of the talks will be led on the US side by Michael Anton, head of the State Department's Policy Planning Division, and Bruce explained that "Special Envoy Witkoff will also be present."
