Today, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson visited Israel and prayed at the Western Wall in Jerusalem, from the second Jewish Temple destroyed by the Roman empire, below the Temple Mount.

As Tisha B’Av ended, U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson led a congressional delegation to the Western Wall, calling the visit a “moving time” and praying that America “always stand with Israel," reported VIN News.

American envoy Steve Witkoff at the end of his visit recently in Gaza, reportedly told Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper after visiting one of the Global Humanitarian Fund aid distribution centers -- "There is no hunger in Gaza. Hamas has no reason not to negotiate."

Witkoff and the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, visited a GHF site in Gaza to investigate allegations of hunger, after Tucker Carlson interviewed a retired U.S. Army officer who said he was appalled at the brutality inflicted by IDF troops on Palestinians looking for food, and that only 4 sites were operational in the south, compared to 400 operated by the U.N. all over the Gaza Strip.

Israel maintains the UN was allowing food aid to be confiscated and sold by Hamas to fund their war against The Jewish State in Gaza, and that GHF is delivering plenty of humanitarian aid.

Witkoff agreed with this assessment after his trip to the region, according to local reports.
