Yesterday, Hezbollah forces in Southern Lebanon joined the war and fired multiple projectiles into Israel along the border region. The group is an Iranian Shia proxy army and heavily influential in Lebanese internal politics as well as the Christian country's security situation.

The Lebanese Army has withdrawn from several border positions in the south as Israeli forces carry out incursions.  The Israeli Military said its troops are operating in southern Lebanon, reports Sky News.

Israeli Defense Minister Katz -- "We approved the IDF to advance in Lebanon to prevent fire on border communities."

A Hezbollah missile struck northern Israel. Four people were injured, reports Israeli News N12.

Sources on the ground in Lebanon report to CDM -- "Israel tried last year and weren't too successful, the attack bogged down and then the US negotiated a ceasefire. They're going to try again this time given that Hezbollah is weakened hoping to be able to displace it all the way in Beirut and apply enough pressure on the Lebanese government to disarm it. Afterwards they're probably going to turn south Lebanon into a demilitarised zone and create a buffer in order to secure their northern border."

Israel launched a second consecutive day of air raids on Hezbollah strongholds in Beirut's southern Dahiyeh suburbs, targeting command centers and weapons facilities in areas like Haret Hreik, amid escalating cross-border violence tied to the broader U.S.-Israel campaign against Iran. The Israeli Defense Forces described the operations as part of a "forward defense" strategy, with additional troops positioned along the Lebanon border to protect civilians. Military spokesman Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani emphasized that these were tactical measures, not a full ground invasion, aimed at preventing Hezbollah attacks.

Israel also issued forced displacement notices for 59 areas across Lebanon, including multiple neighborhoods in Dahiyeh, a Shia-majority region long aligned with Hezbollah. The warnings have intensified humanitarian concerns in an area repeatedly hit during past conflicts, where civilians have faced heavy casualties and displacement.

Meanwhile, a Sunni axis is appearing in an attempt to counter Israeli actions in the region, as the Shia power structure will likely be destroyed in the current conflict. Turkey and Pakistan (with its nuclear weapons) are at the forefront of this new alliance.

Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif -- "Zionism is a threat to humanity. From the establishment of Israel on the land of Palestine until today, every catastrophe that has befallen the Islamic world, every war imposed upon it, will show the direct or indirect hand of Zionist ideology and the state.

"Zionism has controlled the world's economic system for a century. Major powers are held hostage by Zionism.

"Our beloved homeland is a nuclear power, and by the grace and help of Allah, the might of our armed forces is recognized worldwide.

"May Allah shower His blessings upon all those who played a role in making us a nuclear power," reported Turkish Clash Report.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan -- "Israel and the United States will likely seek to ensure that Iran no longer poses a threat in the future.

"Meanwhile, Iran is trying to impose costs by targeting energy infrastructure in the Gulf. We will have to see how long this cost-imposition strategy can continue and what the consequences will be.

"It does not appear that Iran will receive the response it expects.

"Iran may hope that by striking these targets, others will pressure the United States to stop the war — but that does not seem likely.

"It is also unclear how much capacity Iran still has.

"However, if Iran uses its missiles and drones extensively, it could seriously trouble Israel."

Overnight, Iranian drones hit the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh.
