I’m concerned about the Department of Defense, but I’m even more concerned about State Department. If we had better leadership, performance, and representation out of State Department, we’d have less need for Department of Defense.
The State Department has become a haven for America Last Globalists on the U.S. Taxpayer funded payroll. If they can’t bring themselves to be America First, they need to resign immediately.
If I had $10 for every time I’ve been present when an FSO openly bad mouthed the U.S. or degraded Presidential Administration Policy in front of a foreign national, I’d have enough for a very nice, Steak Dinner for two. FSOs are the face of America to our foreign partners and adversaries and the FSO culture needs a total reset.
Foreign countries normally appreciate transparency and self-deprecating humor. They despise pandering and elitist lecturing on abstract principles. They want American companies to respond to Requests for Proposals for Infrastructure, they don’t want another conference on Transgenderism and Green Energy.
If we had a more robust State Department and trusted, America First Foreign Service Officer Corps, we’d need less Title 10 (Defense), and Title 50 (Intelligence).
PS - South Korea needs an Ambassador immediately - they are about to succumb to a Communist Coup, done right in front of us, largely due to the bad policies of the Biden Regime and poor performance of our FSOs.
