President Trump appointed Judge Jeanine Pirro to be the interim U.S. Attorney for Washington, D.C.
The move came after Senator Thom Tillis prevented Ed Martin's confirmation in the Senate for the position. Tillis declared he did it for political reasons but it's likely Tillis is doing the Deep State's bidding, as many GOP Senators are.
Martin was seen as someone who would clean out the corruption in the district and is being redirected to a department inside the DOJ working on the weaponization of government.
The internet had been abuzz for a week to push Tillis to confirm Martin by MAGA online.
