Cell footage captures suspicious silhouette on university rooftop

Yesterday saw the tragic loss of a true patriot and American hero, Charlie Kirk. On this solemn day of remembering the victims of 2001’s terrorist attacks against America, the world mourns Charlie’s death as law enforcement continues its manhunt for the shooter, with two initial suspects released and none currently in custody.

As time elapses, and nearly 20 hours after Charlie was struck, the window for leads will grow colder—a cold fact of homicide investigations. I have no doubt the full might of local, state, and federal law enforcement is aggressively pursuing any and all leads to bring this assassin to justice.

Video footage captured by an observer in attendance shows the silhouette of an individual fleeing the roof of the Losee Center about 400ft from where Charlie was struck almost immediately after the shot was fired. This was truly a “shot heard around the world”.

Additional developments include a briefly united House observing a moment of silence, followed by a contentious eruption of blame between Republican and Democratic congressmen—with yesterday’s Colorado school shooting used by some on the left to distract from Charlie’s assassination.

The Colorado school shooting saw two victims hospitalized and the shooter dead of a self-inflicted gun shot wound. One of those victims was transferred to another hospital with non life-threating wounds and the other remains in critical condition.

Political analyst for MSNBC, Matthew Dowd, was also fired for irreverent comments alleging that Charlie’s “hateful” opinions and speech invited equally “hateful” actions. I’ve never seen Charlie debunked in a debate or disrespect the questioner—rather responding logically based in faith, values, morals, and Constitutional conviction.
